At Eden’s Garden International Preschool we see ourselves as your partners in the education of your child. We believe that there should be an intense cooperation between school and parents especially during the adaptation period. Therefore, we invite our parents to be part of their child’s first days of school. Every year we organize an orientation week for the 2-3 and 3-4 years olds classes. We provide parents with the opportunity to spend time together with their children in the garden of our school to support their children emotionally and to meet the teachers and our psychologist. During the orientation week, following the instructions of our experienced teacher team will help you to easily overcome possible difficulties of your child's transition to school.
Daily Parent-Teacher Communication
Our classroom teachers communicate daily with the parents of our students. The application OkulAile makes it easy for parents to get a quick overview about the development and well-being of their child. The application also allows parents to contact teachers directly by using the direct messenger service. By the end of every week, parents will receive an e-mail with important information and a link to photos and videos for you to see what your child did during the week at school.
Twice a year parents have the chance to discuss their child’s development directly with the teacher in a parent-teacher meeting. We also organize class-teacher meetings, where all parents meet their children's classroom teachers. Educational contents of the first and second semester of the year are presented and discussed in these meetings. All parents have the chance to have meetings with our school psychologist throughout the year. Additionally we will have family information seminars throughout the semester.
We welcome our parents to our extracurricular events at Eden’s Garden International Preschool. We celebrate several international holidays and for some of them, such as Halloween, Christmas and Easter, we open our gates to parents and visitors. At the end of the year our students are proud to present what they have learned on stage at our End-of-the-Year-Show, where of course parents, relatives and friends are kindly invited to join.
